JTRAILS CONTRIBUTORS INFORMATION AND FORM

The following form contains information about our campaign for contributions to the JTrails web-site for 2009 - 2010.

We invite contributions of all kinds, whether it is contributing a story, memory or place, or providing historical facts and comment or volunteering to be a JTrails Heritage Guide or Guardian.

You can contribute through the 'Get Involved' and 'Submit' section of the web-site, or if it is more convenient, or you need copies of this form for a local project, you can print this off or copy the text and use accordingly. Hard copy can be sent to Philip Kiberd Out-Reach Officer c/o our offices at Yarnton Manor.

ON THE JTRAIL OF ANGLO-JEWISH HISTORY

The history of the Jewish community in England stretches back well over 1,000 years. JTrails, the National Anglo-Jewish Heritage Trail, is an initiative of the Spiro Ark to raise awareness of this rich history and collect and record the stories of local individuals and communities.

During 2009 JTrails is creating a series of heritage trails detailing the Anglo-Jewish experience.

HAVE YOU GOT A LOCAL STORY TO TELL OR PLACE TO SHARE?

To complement the historic story JTrails is collecting memories, experiences and places of 20th and 21st century Jewish communities in trail locations.

Memories and places will be added to the JTrails website and help inform an exhibition at the launch of the individual JTrails during 2009-2010.

Would you like to:

• Contribute a story, memory or place?
• Record the story of a relative or friend?
• Add a comment or historical fact?

To contribute fill-in your memory or story overleaf and place in one of our Memory Boxes located at various community sites or post back to the JTrails Outreach Officer c/o Oxford Centre for Hebrew & Jewish Studies, Yarnton Manor, Yarnton, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 1PY.

Alternatively visit the website -- www.jtrails.org.uk and submit your story online where you can also add photographs, videos and oral histories.

JTrails also needs volunteers to help collect stories and to train as heritage trail guides - for more information contact the Outreach Officer through the contact section of the web-site.
